Last updated: 8 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through BlueApril. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Company Information
BlueApril is an online store operated in the Netherlands.

2. Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to every offer made by BlueApril and to every distance contract concluded between BlueApril and a consumer through our online store.
Before an order is completed, these Terms & Conditions will be made available to the customer in a way that allows them to be reviewed and stored.
If a specific product or offer is subject to additional conditions, these will be clearly communicated before the purchase is completed.
3. Offers and Product Information
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible.
Product images are intended to provide a fair representation of the products. Minor differences in colour, packaging, labels or appearance may occur, for example when manufacturers update their packaging.
Obvious errors or mistakes in product information, prices or offers do not bind BlueApril.
4. Prices and Payment
All consumer prices displayed on our website include applicable VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Any applicable delivery costs are clearly shown before the customer completes the order.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information when placing an order.
5. Delivery
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer during checkout.
Available delivery methods, delivery costs and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout.
We aim to process and dispatch accepted orders with due care and within the indicated delivery period.
If delivery is significantly delayed or an order cannot be fulfilled, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the product.
If multiple products from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts on the day the consumer receives the last product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform BlueApril of the decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.
The consumer may use the Model Withdrawal Form, our available online withdrawal function, or send another clear statement to info@blueapril.nl.
Use of the Model Withdrawal Form is not mandatory.
7. Returning Products After Withdrawal
After notifying BlueApril of the decision to withdraw, the consumer has a further 14 days to return the products.
Returns should be sent to:
BlueApril β Returns
Cruquiuszoom 508
2142 EW Cruquius
The Netherlands
For a normal return under the statutory right of withdrawal, the direct costs of returning the products are borne by the consumer, provided the consumer has been informed of this in advance.
We recommend keeping proof of shipment until the return has been processed.
8. Handling Products and Diminished Value
During the withdrawal period, consumers may inspect and handle a product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, comparable to what would reasonably be permitted in a physical store.
The consumer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the product beyond what is necessary for this purpose.
Where permitted by law, BlueApril may deduct the amount of such diminished value from the refund.
Customers are therefore requested to handle products carefully and, where reasonably possible, return them with their supplied accessories and in their original condition and packaging.
Original packaging is not in itself a condition for exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
9. Refunds Following Withdrawal
Following a valid withdrawal, BlueApril will refund the applicable payments received from the consumer without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notification.
For returned goods, BlueApril may withhold the refund until the products have been received back or until the consumer provides evidence that the products have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
When the consumer withdraws from the entire order, the refund includes the standard delivery costs originally charged for delivery to the consumer.
If the consumer selected a delivery method that was more expensive than BlueApril's standard delivery method, BlueApril is not required to refund the additional cost.
For a partial return, the original delivery costs are not refunded where those costs would also have been payable for the products retained by the consumer.
Unless otherwise agreed, refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction and without additional refund fees charged by BlueApril.
10. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply where a legal exception applies.
Depending on the product, this may include:
- products made according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
- products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene after the seal has been broken following delivery; and
- other products or services excluded from the right of withdrawal under applicable law.
Food, cosmetic and personal-care products are not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal solely because of their product category. An exception will only be applied when the relevant statutory requirements are met.
11. Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Products
If a customer receives an incorrect, damaged or defective product, the customer should contact BlueApril at info@blueapril.nl as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask for the order number and, where useful, photographs of the product and packaging to help assess the issue.
Where BlueApril is responsible for the problem, BlueApril will provide an appropriate remedy and bear the reasonable return, replacement or other necessary costs as required by applicable law.
The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from the consumer's legal rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits the consumer's statutory rights.
12. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted to:
Please provide sufficient information for us to understand and investigate the complaint, including the order number where applicable.
We aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days after receiving the complaint.
If more time is reasonably required to investigate the matter, we will acknowledge the complaint within this period and indicate when a more detailed response can be expected.
13. WebwinkelKeur Dispute Mediation
We encourage customers to contact BlueApril first so that we have the opportunity to resolve any complaint directly.
If a consumer complaint cannot be resolved together, the consumer may submit the dispute for mediation through WebwinkelKeur, subject to the applicable WebwinkelKeur procedure and conditions.
If mediation does not result in a solution, the dispute may, where applicable and subject to the relevant conditions, be submitted to the independent dispute resolution procedure designated by WebwinkelKeur.
This does not affect the consumer's statutory rights or right to bring a dispute before a competent court.
14. Privacy and Personal Data
BlueApril processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Further information about what personal data we collect, why we process it, how long it may be retained, third parties involved in processing and the rights available to customers can be found in our Privacy Policy.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the BlueApril website, including text, branding, graphics and original visual material, is owned by or lawfully used by BlueApril.
Such material may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission where protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.
16. Liability
BlueApril is responsible for fulfilling its obligations under the agreement and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
BlueApril is not responsible for damage resulting from circumstances attributable to the customer or from incorrect information supplied by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
17. Force Majeure
BlueApril will not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations where performance is prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where such circumstances affect an order, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and seek an appropriate solution.
18. Amendments
BlueApril may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order are those that were made available to the customer when the order was concluded.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce statutory rights relating to orders already concluded.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
Agreements between BlueApril and consumers are governed by Dutch law, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection available to them under the law applicable to their situation.
We encourage customers to contact us first if a dispute arises so that we can attempt to resolve it together.
